People

For public relations in particular, people matter. Credibility, trust, integrity. Those qualities depend on people. We have a team of smart, straight-forward, experienced people who believe strongly that actions speak louder than words.

Cynthia Hamprincipal/chief public relations officer

Cynthia joined archer>malmo to manage the public relations division in 1997 and became a principal when senior management acquired the firm in 2001. Prior to joining the agency, her leadership served several prominent entertainment and tourism organizations, including the Memphis in May International Festival. She is now using her more than 30 years of experience in public relations, advertising, marketing and management to develop and execute strategic communication programs for a wide range of national, regional and local clients. Cynthia is deeply committed to the Memphis community and serves as president of the Beale Street Caravan and on the board of the National Civil Rights Museum. She holds a journalism degree from the University of Memphis and received the award for Outstanding Journalism Alumni in 1991. She and her husband live Downtown and commute a mile to work, happily avoiding Interstate traffic snarls. Her two dogs, Stax and Bluff, are frequent visitors to the agency.
